Chinese Valentine’s Day

The Lantern Festival (aka Chinese Valentine’s Day 💕) is celebrated on the 15th of the first month of the lunar new year (Feb 8, 2020). Tangyuan (湯圓 these are glutinous rice balls with sweet stuff inside. In this drawing it’s black sesame, which is my favorite 😋) eaten in a round bowl 🥣 symbolizes a happy and unified family (circular things = unity).
